We currently have 5 Football teams, a Senior Boys 1st XI, Senior 2nd XI (The CHBC Saints) and a Junior A, a Girls team 1st XI and a Girls 2nd XI.
All teams compete Competitively in the Hawkes Bay leagues, boys Boys’ and Girls’ 1st XI attend National Tournaments in term 3 each year.
Mr Breen and Mr Shepherd run football at the College with the support of Sports Co ordinator Mrs Mackey.

Girls practice Mondays after school
1st XI practice Tuesdays & Thursdays after school
CHBC Saints practisce on Tuesdays, they are welcome to train with the 1st XI on Thursdays
Juniors practice on Wednesdays after school
Games are played In HB Secondary Schools competition in Hastings, Napier & Waipukurau
SCHOOL EXCHANGE
We have an annual inter school exchange with Dannevirke High School, we have been unbeaten by DHS in the last 5 years.
CELEBRATION OF FOOTBALL
Town V Country and "Old Boys v 1st XI"
Since 2020 we have ended the season with a "Celebration of Football" old Boys and Town V Country matches and prizegiving, so far the old boys and Country (any non 1st XI players are eligable and play based on their Primary school) are undefeated. In 2024 we hope to add a Girls match as well.
This is a great way to end the Sesaon, Saturday Spetember 14 2024 at the College.
