A small team of five students competed at the HBSS Swim Champs held on Thursday 05 March at the Flaxmere Pool. The girls secured fifth place in the inter school team competition. Unfortunately, we had insufficient swimmers for the Relays.
Best performed was Caitlin Jenkins who collected three titles and was a close second in her forth event. This was an outstanding achievement. Caitlin has carried on from her excellent form in the Waikato summer champs the previous week. Lucy Macklow and Toby Ward were the next best placed, with a fifth place each.
Many thanks to Mrs. Franklin and Mrs Jenkins who travelled with and assisted the team.
