Academic Conferences


Parent / teacher subject Conferences are scheduled for Wednesday 25 June (Evening only), Thursday 26 June (Evening only) and Friday 27 June (Day only). Bookings will be made online by parents to meet with subject teachers. Further details will be emailed to parents / caregivers and students will also be given a hard copy to take home. Conferences will provide a greater opportunity for the key players (parents, student and teacher) in a students’ academic success, to meet and plan for the future. 

Students are required to attend the Conference with their parent/s to meet with subject teachers to discuss achievement and progress to date and to discuss future subject choices and career pathways with staff.  Senior students will be issued with NCEA updates prior to the Conference Day. It is expected that all parents attend these Conferences.

 

While the focus is on senior students, bookings can be made for junior students. Please note that bookings for senior students will open first, bookings for junior students will open this afternoon.

Times: Appointments are for 10min with each subject teacher. Please see session times on the booking website.

  • Wednesday 25th June  4.00 pm – 6:00pm     
  • Thursday 26th June      4:00pm – 7:30pm
  • Friday 27th June.          10:00am –2:30pm

 

 

While school is officially open on Friday 27 June, there are no scheduled classes and students are not required to attend unless for the conferences.


 

Conference Bookings:

Parents will be able to book online – please follow the Conference Booking instructions below.

If you book early, you have a greater choice of desirable times available.

If you do not have access to the internet, please phone the school office and they will make the bookings for you. If you have any problems, please do not hesitate to phone the school office on 858 9203.

Conference Length:

Parents will have the ability to book interviews every 10 minutes.  NOTE – interview times must be strictly adhered too to allow all teachers, parents and students to keep to their times. If you book consecutive times you will need to leave in time to make your next appointment.

Staff will be grouped in Departments and located in classrooms around the A-Block / C-Block / Library area to allow ease of movement. Refreshments will be available. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your first appointment.
