In the Numeracy and Writing exams, all students have the opportunity to have the questions read aloud using the 'Polly' text -to-speech function located at the top of each page. Students who wish to use this function have been advised to bring headphones to school on the day of their exam. It is also advisable for them to login to the NZQA website and practise a past exam using this function.

It is important that the headphones can be connected to the computer with a cord, as Bluetooth is NOT available for this assessment.
