Next Tuesday, the 8th of April, is the Year 9 Peer Support Activity Day. The Year 9 students, Year 12 and 13 Peer Support Leaders and the Year 9 Mentors will go through a rotation of fun team building activities at Russell Park. EPIC staff members will also be assisting with these activities.

This will begin at 11.00am and finish at the end of the school day. The purpose of this day is to continue to develop the positive relationships between Year 9 students, their Peer Support leaders and Mentors, assist with transition and integration and to support the Year 9 students’ development of key competencies such as: Managing Self, Relating to Others, and Participating and Contributing.

Students will still have normal lessons for periods 1 and 2. They will need to bring their PE gear, a spare change of clothes, hat, towel, sunscreen, a heathy lunch that will sustain them for the afternoon (school lunches will be available before they leave) and a water bottle.
