Congratulations to the following Year 8 students, Jaycee Sciascia from Pōrangahou School and Nuala Birrell-Imbeah from Tikokino School, for winning the Central Hawke’s Bay College Scholarship for Music Tuition in 2025.  Jaycee won the Vocal section singing ‘Rolling in the Deep’ by Adele as well as singing ‘Someone You Loved’ by Lewis Capaldi. Nuala won the Instrumental section by playing three songs on violin; O Leave Your Sheep, Jazzy Jingle Bells and Allegretto.  In 2025, both Jaycee and Nuala will be able to select an instrument to study, paid for by Central Hawke’s Bay College.  We will follow both music careers with interest!
