Paige Franklin was recently awarded the Hawke's Bay Poverty Bay Open Water Swimmer of the Year. She received this award for her fantastic results at several open water events swum over the summer. Including winning a title at the NZ Secondary School Open Water Championship held in Rotorua in March. This award was one of only three regional awards given out to swimmers from the Hawke's Bay Poverty Bay area for their performances during the 2023-2024 season. Congratulations Paige.
