Netball season for 2023 is now complete. Finals weekend for our teams that compete in the Hastings Saturday competition was exciting with 6 out of our 8 teams playing off for 1st/2nd position in their grade.
Our Senior Premier also played off for 3rd/4th position in Division 2 of the Super Netball competition the following Tuesday evening.
The girls all represented the College with pride and real heart, especially in the finals where every team played hard to the final whistle. There were some very close games, including the Senior A having to play into extra time. Overall, we had 3 teams take the win, 3 teams 2nd, 2 teams 3rd and 1 team 5th.
This is an outstanding result and probably is the College’s most successful season of Netball in recent years.
Well done to all players for their efforts and commitment to their teams and huge thank you to all coaches for supporting the girls over the season.
