As a forward-thinking College, we have decided to allow our current Year 10 students to sit the Literacy & Numeracy assessment tasks to help prepare them for Level 1 NCEA in 2024. This means that some of our students will achieve the Literacy and Numeracy requirements before they embark on Level 1 NCEA. The standards are assessed digitally by way of a common assessment activity, NZQA has set aside two opportunities in 2023 when students can attempt these assessments.

The first opportunity Monday June 12 – to Friday June 16. In this week every Year 10 student will sit the three assessments on a computer in the school hall under NZQA examination conditions.
