Year 9 Scholarships Awarded
Students Excelling
Congratulations to the following Year 9 students who have been awarded CHB College Educational Scholarships for 2023.
Eve Bowen (Ongaonga School), Destiny Chesswas (Terrace School), Sophia Coddington (Waipukurau School), Euan Cruise (Waipawa School), Moses Dingle (Tikokino School), Tommie-Lee Hunter Pekepo ( Waipawa School), Jay van Heuckelum (Tikokino School).
The students are identified through ongoing testing at the College during the first term and also knowledge of the students gained from their primary schools. The scholarships are awarded to students for excellence in school activities such as leadership, academic, culture and sport, which is strongly linked to how well they demonstrate the school values. The scholarships are used to support the students’ activities at school.
