Paige Franklin completed in the 2.5km in the New Zealand Open Water championship held in Lake Taupō on Saturday January 14th finishing a commendable 11th in her age group. On Sunday she then competed in the Epic Swim 1km event along with her sister Breanna Franklin. Paige gained the bronze medal for finishing 3^rd overall female out of the 83 female swimmers. Breanna, who had to compete in the same age group as her sister (12-14 year olds), placed 17^th in this age group and 28^th female. Well done girls.
