An Evening with Rob Veale

In support of White Ribbon month, Violence Free CHB are pleased to host Rob Veale in CHB to share his knowledge on family harm with us.

 

Thursday 17 November, Waipukurau Club, 10 Russell Street, Waipukurau

 

Rob is recognised for his outstanding contribution to family violence prevention in New Zealand and the Pacific.  An experienced lecturer and trainer we are pleased to welcome Rob to Central Hawke’s Bay to share his knowledge and insights with us.

 

Rob will be speaking about family harm, the dynamics, and impacts. This is a free event for anyone interested in learning more about family violence prevention. It will be from 6pm – 7.30 pm. This is open to all public and all professionals are encouraged to attend as there will be question answer session at the end and where to go for help and support. Refreshments will be from 5.30pm and a gold coin Koha is welcome at the door.

Central Hawke’s Bay 4WD Trek

This trek is a one day Rotary Fundraiser drive over iconic CHB coastal sheep stations starting at the River Park Event Centre on Pourerere Road and finishing at Porangahau Beach where there will be a barbeque and bar facility in the beach carpark.

 

Saturday 25th February 2023.  $200 per vehicle entry fee includes 2 adults. $100 per extra adults $35 per child (12 and under)
