Hawke’s Bay Secondary Schools Golf Tournament

We had three students turn up to battle the wind on Friday the 29th of July at Maraenui Golf Club for the Hawke's Bay Secondary Schools Golf Tournament. What an amazing course and a beautiful sunny day to take on the big walk. A big congratulations to Rueben Harris coming home with second place with a score of 73. Rueben had a great round of Golf with multiple pars and even got an Eagle. Another huge shoutout to Cove Lambert and Michaela Waite for taking on the Maraenui Golf Club Awatoto Course and representing Central Hawke's Bay College in the social division.

Hockey Success

Congratulations to Emily Brun who, following the recent Under 18 Hockey Nationals, has been selected to attend Junior Black Caps Super Camp. The purpose of the JBS programme is to identify players who showcase the skills, game awareness and character and who have the potential to go on to play for the Vantage Black Sticks in the future. The programme aims to provide each athlete with both on and off-field support along with international competition.  We wish Emily all the best for the camp which is held in October.  This is an exceptional achievement.
