At Central Hawkes Bay College, we are fortunate to have several students who are achieving great things in Moto-X . Aimee Thomsen competed against the current World Champion, Courtney Duncan and NZs No:1 rider in Taupō last weekend where she placed a very commendable 5th in the Senior Womans.
Jamie Welch our Head of PE & experienced veteran Moto-X & off road XC racer is very impressed with up and coming stars Jordan Coles and Seth Iremonger who are amazing riders and giving our local Senior Men a run for their money. Aimee's brother Jack and Keegan Waru also making steady progress biting at the heels of Jordan & Seth. Several of our students and their very supportive families are very committed and travel most weekends to mix it up with New Zealand's best. If you like to watch this adrenalin pumping sport head out to one of the CHB Motorcycle Club race days and see this lot in action! (3rd Sunday every month). Mr Welch is thankful he does not have to race in the same class as our talented students!?
Keep on the gas team!
