NZ Secondary School Cross Country  

Caitlin Kirk represented CHB College in the NZ Secondary Schools Cross Country last weekend in Saxton Fields in Nelson. 

She travelled with Havelock North High School as she was the sole representative from CHB College. 

Saturday was an individual 3km run. She came 28th in a field of 84 junior under 16 girls with a time of 11 mins 59 seconds on a very muddy heavy track. 

Due to Saturday's great result, Caitlin was selected to be in the Top East Coast North Island Interprovincial Team, for the NZSS team cross country relay race. Her team came 5th out of 14 teams.

Thank you Caitlin for doing such a fine job representing our school.  I am sure we will continue to see great results form you over the next few years.
