The CHB College Move to Improve Program is a programme of physical and mental training development. It is designed to extend a young person’s mind and physical capability and work toward building motivation, resilience, problem solving skills and self-esteem, so they are motivated to reach their potential.  This programme will have a focus on teamwork, goal setting, leadership and discipline.

 

The objectives are

 - To instil self-discipline and strength of character into the participants

- To challenge them to push through their limits and raise their personal achievement level.

- To promote teamwork and develop interpersonal skills

- To encourage and support Youth and their families

- To promote and encourage community awareness

 

The programme is 2 sessions per week which started on Tuesday 15th June, every Tuesday and Thursday until the end of term 3. Training starts at 10:00 with an hour of Physical Training under the guidance of Gareth Thompson and Richard Kupa, employees at Central Lines Sports Complex. Followed by lunch and mentoring with Richard Kupa before returning to school for their P3 class.
