Gymnastics

Over the holidays Lachie Kirk, Kegan Kirk, Kerrin Harrison and Caitlin Kirk travelled to Auckland for the North Island Championships. All gained placings in various events as follows.

Synchro - 

Lachie and team mate 4th men’s junior international, Kegan and Kerrin 2nd men’s 15-16 year old.

Lachie -  Double Mini Junior Men’s International 1^st and North Island Champion and Individual trampoline junior men’s international 13th.

Kegan -  Double mini 15-16 year men 4^th, Individual trampoline 15-16 year men 6th.

Kerrin - Double mini 13-14 year men 7^th, Individual trampoline 13-14 year men 13th.

Caitlin - Double mini 13-14 women 3^rd, Individual trampoline 13-14 women women 3rd

Last weekend Lachie and Caitlin competed in the North Island and Secondary Schools Tumbling Championships with the following results:

Lachie – 1^st in both the Secondary Schools and North Island Championships

Caitlin – 4^th in the Secondary Schools and 11^th in the North Island Championships.

Hockey Representatives

Congratulations to Emily Brun for her selection in the Hawke’s Bay Under 18 Hockey Team to play in the National hockey tournament held in Wellington from 11th -17th July.  

Gray Smith was also selected for the Men’s u18s Hawke’s Bay team to play in the National tournament held in Hamilton from 11th - 17th July. 

Rugby

The First XV had their second pre-season game in the first weekend of the holidays defeating Havelock North High School by 24 to 14 at Central Park.  Tries to Torin Welch, Dylan Wind, Oliver Wichman and Michael Large, 2 conversions to Jack Shearman. Last weekend they played Dannevirke High School in another pre-season game in Dannevirke.
