On going wide reading, book reviews, library, vocabulary
These can be aimed towards U S 8808 for top band Yr 10s. lower band yr 10 classes can aim to complete work towards US 2970 Read independently texts about life experiences. Yr 9 to focus on how to write reviews. Worksheet responses initially then move to the more formal written response.

Novel/ short stories/ film. Character, plot, theme, paragraph structure, use of evidence for support. Focus writing on an issue from chosen text.

Everyone will finish the year as part of a production unit. Choice of short plays, films, newspapers etc. Final week before end of year activities will be a presentation week |
